An additional 100,000 latest generation ASIC hardware devices are estimated to be deployed on the Bitcoin network based on changes in the average Bitcoin network hash rate. The two-week average hash rate increased to 71.43 EH/s on the 5th of August from 64.49 EH/s on the 23rd of July. Assuming the increase in hash rate was attributed to the latest generation ASICs (Antminer S17, WhatsMiner M20S), the increase would suggest that more than 100,000 of these models were deployed on the network over the past two weeks.
