The Russian company Far-East Trading and Industrial Company, also known as DTPK, is under criminal investigation by the Russian Federal Customs Service. The company is being investigated for falsifying documents in relation to the importation of Bitmain-manufactured mining hardware. The falsified documents would have resulted in an underpayment to customs for the amount of $1.2 million. As part of the investigation, the Russian company Intelion Mining had their data centres raided. Intelion Mining hosts mining equipment on behalf of clients. As a result of the raids, hardware was seized from their data centres due to lack of proper documentation but it is believed that Intelion Mining is not associated with DTPK.
